Made for the way they see: prey in blues and yellows, strong contrast and movement like real prey. Pick who's playing, put the screen on the floor and let the hunt begin.
Who's playing?
For cats: small, fast prey that hides and peeks out. A paw on top counts as a catch.
Scurries about, stops for a sniff and ducks under the cushion or past the edge of the screen. Then, when you least expect it, out pokes its nose.
A pond of yellow fish gliding between lily pads. Every touch sends ripples across the water.
A yellow dot that zigzags, freezes and slips away right under the paw. Like a laser, minus the laser.
Flutters aimlessly around the lamp, lands for a moment and takes off again.
For dogs: big targets and calmer movement. Lots of dogs would rather watch than touch, so there's a TV mode. A nose or paw tap counts too.
A quiet park: blue tits, a squirrel and falling leaves, with birdsong and rustling. No need to touch anything; a nose tap still counts.
Blue tits hopping on the ground, pecking and chirping. Touch one and off they fly; they're back before long.
Runs along the fence, stops, flicks its tail and peeks out from behind the tree trunk.
A big blue ball that bounces, rolls and shoots off with a ‘boing’ when touched.
